Uh oh, he asked The Question.
Anyways, I do indeed agree with Malice Black that some sort of a "trade" section with material prices in it would be an excellent idea.

You should write about how everyone in pvp is using a different build, and how much more enjoyable the game is because of it.
END OF SARCASM.

Hey, at least the age of IWAY ended. I very much doubt that any Guild worth watching in GvG would ever run a standardized build, because it lends to predictability and known weaknesses. Most guilds seem to use balanced build more and more, and those can definitely vary.
As for HoH... okay, I see your point. But I think a feature article on some of the more original builds would be good reading. Well, maybe.

the scribe should write about shiro, onis, mystical items, something story related that happened in the past and may find his way to cantha.. and not about stuff like "whats going on with iway"

See, some of us are actually interested in PvP. Children, we need to learn to share the Scribe nicely so we don't pull one of his legs off by accident.

Firstly, let me apologise to you Gaile for the fact that appearently 95% of the GW community sees a thread by you, skips the OP, and just takes it as an oppertunity to complain about the lack of storage space and other such menial concerns.
I had an excellent idea for the Scribe just last weekend but I guess I waited too long to send it in. I thought perhaps that it would interest people to know a littl bit behind what it takes for an alliance to control the major cities like House Zu Heltzer. This last weekend oOo lost 3 guilds from their alliance over a 12 hour period, and after losing the city for a few hours they managed a stunning come back to 14mil faction, while their greatest competitor only had 9, and while oOos climbed to almost 16mil their competitor fell to 6mil.
Sure, this might be equally well covered by interviewing one of the alliance guilds for GOTW, but big changes in town ownership might warrent some coverage too.

a 1v1 2v2 3v3 arena where u can settle a fight in a more plesent mannor than screaming and spamming across the chat windo where people are trying to play the game i have a thread on it feel free to view and use anything you want i could care less if u did
i also seen a really good thread of pet vs pet fighting like pvp only with u pets and there would be 5 pets that u could buy for 5k not as cool as the one year pets but jus some simple pets
and the one every one wants to see MOUNTS
hourses(Warriors/Monks)
big cats(ranger
(something dead for necros)
phonix(ele)
Spirit hourse(rit)
(something for sins)
(something for Mes)
or jus make it so it doesnt matter what u are u can get choose from a couple of dif animals(no animal armor that would make the game way to spendy)

It seems like there are many PvEers who are adamantly PvP-hostile, but I would personally find reporting on gvg interesting.
Particular incidents that come to mind would include the disbanding of iGi and Deer - stuff that the general public would be unaware of but might find interesting.
Coverage of Alliance news would also be very interesting, as demonstrated by Fate two posts above.

the scribe was made for rpg, because there is alot of people that say the focus is too much pvp on the guild wars web site.
in game polatics
in game history, lore
and pve builds
stuff like that would be good.

I don't get PvEers or PvPers. However your better then PvAers (player vs Anet)
I know you could write about big dance parties like ones in grotto.

QFT, this isn't the suggestions to fix the game thread, it's topics that you would like to see him write about.
Personally, I'd like to see him write some lore behind areas that aren't too popular. I'd also like to see more than 3 people in the random acts of kindness part as it's not too hard to go around to any town and find people doing nice things.

did u read the title of this thread? hmmm
this is about things that could be said in the scribe,
not as alrdy mentioned many times, in-game improvements.
and just for the record i don't want to see a mount.
anyways
i like the scribe atm, and what it rights about.
i enjoyed that it was used as a narrative for the addition of new greens, which i made me much happier hereing it about from random whispers in local chat.
i think a random bit of lore every thursday about many of the games factions,(tengu, dwaves, undead, etc)
would make me happy.

I thought The Scribe was supposed to be for rpg as well, as a side effect of Anet always promoting PvP and players requests for more rpg elements... I stopped reading The Scribe after the second issue when all it did was further talk more about PvP. I personally don't care about PvP but I am interested in game lore, Tyrian and Canthan history.
I also think The Scribe would be a great place for "rumors" of distant lands (next chapters) or upcoming festivals.

Umm... Isnt the scribe for PvE? There has always been lots of PvP news on the site. Sure if you want a narrative role-play (which is what the scribe is) for PvP... i guess.... not seeing the point of that.

I think anet needs help, with ideas and about what to wright. Some of the other fourms have good stuff.
lore seems to be a big one
i would love to some sort of chart that lists the price for ingame greens and weapons would be cool.
bios on bossies
Pve builds that work very well.
